Favourite Stamp with Sweet Stampin Challenge

Hi peeps! and thanks for all the lovely comments on my last post. I should have had this up yesterday but I totally forgot!!! (that's old age for ya!) so apologies to the rest of my teamies. It's our 'just for fun' challenge over at Sweet Stampin and the theme this week is 'Favourite Stamp' . ...well I have so many and all seem to be LOTV but this one reminds me of when I was little dressing up in my mam's high 'leels' as I called  them then and I had my own special watering can to help her in the garden. I couldn't wear a pair of stilletos if you paid me now I would be walking round as if I was drunk LOL
It's craft club tomorrow and then a day at the hospital with Paul ..he's so not looking forward to it but needs must. It's our wedding anniversary today...29 years!!! and I've loved every minute xxxTake care everyone and lot's of huggles Sue xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Well we've have had lots of rain for the past 2 days but the sun is out now even though it's a bit nippy. Went to Crafter's Companion on Monday with the girlies from our crafty club and had a great time...in fact I don't think the poor demonstrator knew what hit her she couldn't stop laughing either!!!! but it was great fun and just what the doctor ordered after the miserable chest infection. Well I need to pop off and make a get well card for my neighbour's daughter she had a minor op yesterday it all went well but she's sore bless her. Take care everyone and huggles xxxxxxxxxxx Sue xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Cute Santa!

Hi everyone! Well I think I spoke too soon about being well!!!!! I've got a bloomin chest infection ..so next time I post that I'm feeling really well lately I best keep quiet lol xx I made this card with one of the gorgeous new Christmas images from LOTV . They have some more new stamps out again today as well ..I'll never be rich! but they are gorgeous. Our crafty gang of ladies are all going out for the day to Crafter's Companion next Monday for a day of crafting..so we are all looking forward to that and I hope this has sorted itself out with the antibiotics as well or I will be put in the corner I think. Sat typing this and looked out of the window and thinking that the early dark nights are upon us 😒 Paul said he saw a robin in the garden today...'must be getting colder if they are back' didn't have the heart to tell him they haven't been anywhere hahahahaha...bless his cotton socks. Well I shall toodle off and make his nibbs a cuppa and a bit of supper. Take care everyone and lots of hugglessssss  Sue xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Heat Embossing with Sweet Stampin Challenge

Well I am back with another challenge post !!! It's time for our weekly 'just for fun' challenge at Sweet Stampin and the theme is 'heat embossing' so I stamped poinsettia stamps on to some vellum and used gold embossing powder. The image is a printed one from LOTV which I love! I don't get much time to colour these days:((( and I really miss it... and I've used an LOTV christmas stamp for the sentiment.
My daughter had to go for a scan on her eyes yesterday because she has a swelling behind both of them so hopefully we will get the results soon..and Paul is back to see his specialist this week for his normal check up on his heart and the week after for his encounter with a camera that he's definitely not looking forward to 😕 I am glad to say at this very moment in time I'm really well ..and I hope all of you are too...and blessings go out to all of the poor people affected by that dreadful hurricane in America. Take care and lots of huggles xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sue xxxxxxxxxxxxx
